CORPORATE GOVERNANCE OVERVIEWSTATEMENT DAGANG NeXCHANGE BERHAD 64 5.2 Directors’ Training All Directors had attended and completed the Mandatory Accreditation Programme (MAP) as required by the MMLR of Bursa Securities. The Board is mindful of the need for directors to attend continuous education programmes to keep them abreast of new developments pertaining to legislations, regulations, current commercial issues and changing commercial risks that may affect business operations and compliance matters. Appropriate training and education programmes are identified and arranged for directors’ participation from time to time to further enhance their skills and knowledge, and the Company allocates a dedicated training budget to support the continuous development of the directors. During the year under review, the Directors have attended and participated in training programmes, seminars, conferences and forums that covered the areas of corporate governance, financial, relevant industry updates and global business developments which they considered as useful in contributing to the effective discharge of their duties as Directors.
